This is the best-selling bus tour in Tenerife. Clients who buy multiple bus tours always return most excited from this particular one.
After all the guests are onboard, we head towards the volcano, meaning we climb to higher altitudes. On the way, we’ll make a brief stop in the village of Villaflor, known for being the village at the highest altitude on the island (1400m). You should know that as we ascend towards the Las Canadas National Park, the microclimates will change. Be sure to bring a jacket or sweater for the 2500m altitude. You will feel a temperature difference of up to 10°C compared to the south. This height means you're above the clouds, and you'll have a spectacular view of the volcano itself. The volcanic area looks somewhat surreal and is often compared to Mars.
After visiting the volcano, we will head to the town of Icod de los Vinos, where the famous thousand-year-old Dragon Tree is located. You’ll also encounter wine cellars and museums, such as the Guanche Museum (dedicated to the island's first inhabitants).
Just a few minutes drive away, we reach the third stop, the town of Garachico, known for its natural volcanic stone pools. In fact, Garachico was struck by a major volcanic eruption in 1706, and the pools are remnants of that event.
Finally, the most beautiful place we will visit is the stunning village of Masca, which somewhat resembles Machu Picchu in Peru. Simply put, the village, with its appearance and atmosphere, is a retreat for the soul. We recommend you try the cactus lemonade, a sweet, refreshing pink drink that is specific to Masca.
After Masca, we will return to the hotels.
