Jetski + Parasailing – Popular Summer Combination

There are various combinations of excursions and activities on the island of Tenerife. As summer approaches, we believe it's best to highlight the popular summer combination of Jetski + Parasailing. When it comes to jetski, we recommend a one-hour tour as it’s more than enough, especially when combined with parasailing. All of this can be done in one morning or afternoon. Our personal experience with these activities is truly commendable, and even though years have passed, these experiences are still fresh in our memory.

JETSKI – I went on a two-hour jetski safari with a friend. It was my first time riding a jetski, and the feeling was amazing. The adrenaline rush as you cut through the waves is indescribable. During the two-hour tour, there's a 15-minute swimming break in front of the beautiful Palm Mar cave, where you may even encounter turtles. The water in this part of the ocean is extremely clean since there aren’t many tourist buildings around. The jetskis are powerful (Sea-Doo GTI 130, Sea-Doo GTX 130 PRO). The reason I recommend the one-hour tour is that two hours can often feel like too much, and you might experience muscle soreness. However, if you're the sporty type – GO FOR IT.

PARASAILING – We did this activity as a pair. We both love flying, and compared to paragliding, parasailing is much simpler and fear-free. The parasailing flight, attached to a boat, allows you to go up in pairs, threes, or even fours if weather conditions are right. This activity also serves as a short boat trip lasting about one hour, with 15 minutes in the air. A small group of flyers take turns, and we all have the chance to cheer and clap for each other. The adventure starts with you sitting at the stern of the boat, where the crew attaches you to the parachute with ropes. In just a few seconds, you’re up at about a hundred meters above the sea. From up there, you can enjoy the view of the southern coast of Tenerife. The end of the experience is great because, if you'd like, they can splash you with a bit of water before quickly bringing you back to the boat’s stern. All in all, it's a really fun experience.
